West End Primary School Oswaldtwistle where we received the following feedback:

FEEDBACK

In May/June of last year the school was informed that we were to be rewired as part of the Authority’s condition led programmed. This was very positive news for the school however there was a great deal of concern on my behalf at how such a project could be completed without causing major disruption to the school’s operations.

In the early meetings I was introduced to Tom and Colin who were extremely professional and knowledgeable about the works required and how this could be achieved.  I was encouraged by this and looked forward to a successful project.

Over the summer holidays I regularly attended site and the school’s site supervisor was completing works around the premises.  Both he and I were very impressed with all the contractors who worked on the project and there were very accommodating to my requests for information or guidance.  Jason as site manager was very professional and always took time out of his schedule to give me updates on the project.

In September we entered our second phase in which works were to continue on  a phased approach.  The professionalism of all staff involved was exceptional.  They worked effectively without disrupting normal school routines and supported the school in ensuring the safety of children and staff.  Again, Jason’s dealings with myself and other staff members was of the most professional standard.

Over the course of the project I have also received regular updates from Tom who has always been very helpful in dealing with any issues that have arisen.  He has listened to any feedback and acted accordingly. Tom has also been very effective at dealing with Local Authority representatives who at times have forgotten that the we make use of the building and know it best.

There are classrooms within the school that have been transformed and the outcome is that the children have much better learning environments.  All the work, whether it be the electrics, the ceilings or the redecorations has been of a very high quality.

I would be more than happy for you to use our school as an example of your company’s work and if any prospective clients would like to view our building please do not hesitate to get in touch.  As a site with a range of buildings varying from age of 100 to 30 years this project was by no means straight forward.

If I ever move on from West End Primary School to another school that is in need of re-wiring (extremely unlikely!) I would certainly request that Thompson complete the works.
