Job Description Approved Electrician / Site Supervisors

We are looking for motivated and friendly Approved Electricians with experience of working in a supervisory on site role to fulfill our order book.

You would be responsible completing work on site with a small team of electricians and apprentices.  Undertaking installation work in commercial and industrial premises for a variety of customers including in the education, healthcare and commercial sectors.

Work will be primarily in the Lancashire area although you will be required to work accross the North West as required.

Are you?

• Experienced in Commercial Work
• Experienced in managing your own workload?
• Experienced in supervising a team of Electricians and Apprentices
• Able to work as part of a team?
• Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service?
• Can you produce work of a high standard, follow safety procedures and work to tight deadlines?
• Do you have excellent communication skills both verbal and written?

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds
• 2391-52 or equivilient / graded as Approved Electrician
• Current JIB Card or ability to be graded
• 18th Edition if possible
• PASMA/IPAF/First Aid/Asbestos Awareness/SSSTS would be beneficial but not essential

Job description Maintenance Electrician

Thompson Building Services Engineers are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our busy FM Team.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in undertaking reactive call outs to a variety of clients ranging from schools, colleges and universities to retail outlets.

You will be experienced in fault finding, liasing with clients on site to explain works undertaking and able to undertake repairs including diagnosing and rectifing faults on ciruits, repair and replacement of lighting and simliar works. You will also be familiar with undertaking small planned works arising from the reactive works. You will be able to provide a high standard of workmanship with attention to detail and a high level of customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds
• Current JIB Card or ability to be graded as an Electrician or Approved Electricia
• 18th Edition if possible
• Clean Driving Licence
• Experienced in reactive maintenance

• Pay rates will be based on JIB rates depending on skills and experience
• A van will be provided
• 40-45 hours per week
