Thompsons Apprentice Wins Prestigious JTL National Rising Star Award
We are delighted to announce that second year Electrical Apprentice, Liam, 22 from Goosnargh Preston, has been crowned the JTL National Rising Star Award winner.
After being recognised as the North West Regional Rising Star, Liam progressed to the national finals, where he impressed the judging panel with his exceptional technical ability, commitment to learning and professionalism throughout his apprenticeship.
Since joining Thompsons, Liam has consistently exceeded expectations. He has embraced every opportunity to develop his skills. His willingness to learn, attention to detail and positive attitude have earned him the respect of colleagues, clients and mentors alike.
Throughout his apprenticeship, Liam has demonstrated the values that are at the heart of Thompsons. Whether delivering high-quality installations, supporting fellow apprentices or building positive relationships with clients, he has shown a level of maturity and professionalism well beyond his experience.
Liam’s achievement is a fantastic reflection of the talent, dedication and enthusiasm that apprentices bring to our business. We are committed to developing future generations of skilled engineers, and Liam’s success demonstrates what can be achieved through hard work, the right support and a passion for continuous learning.
