Thompsons is proud to support Mr Motivator’s Bed Bank, in partnership with Rise Construction Framework, helping to raise vital funds for children and families who need a safe, comfortable place to sleep.

£350 provides 1 bed for 1 Child!   We have already donated £350 to the campaign and are now seeking additional sponsorship to help increase the impact even further.

The Rise Construction Framework was founded with social value at its heart. Through its work, Rise directly funds the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector, supporting those who are homeless, vulnerable, disadvantaged, neglected, and many others who need help the most.

We are delighted to be part of this initiative and to help raise awareness and funds for such an important cause.

Every child deserves a proper bed to sleep in, yet almost one million children across the UK are currently without a bed of their own. Many are sleeping on cold floors, shared sofas, or makeshift bedding, such as thin blankets, because their families simply do not have the means to provide them with a safe and comfortable place to rest.

A good night’s sleep is essential for a child’s wellbeing. Without it, children can struggle to concentrate at school, their health may be affected, and everyday life becomes much harder. Bed poverty is about far more than being tired — it is about children missing out on the comfort, security, and dignity of having a bed to call their own.

Supporting the campaign on behalf of Thompsons are two of our young electricians, Alex and Alex, who are getting involved to help raise awareness and sponsorship for Mr Motivator’s Bed Bank.  Please encourage them to get dressed up in their brightest colours for this fundraiser!

As part of the next generation of skilled tradespeople within our business, Alex and Alex represent the values we are proud to encourage across Thompsons — teamwork, community spirit, and a willingness to support causes that make a real difference.

They will be helping to raise funds at Boxpark Liverpool on 18th June, in support of the Rise Construction Framework fundraising event. Their efforts will help provide safe, comfortable beds for children who do not currently have one of their own.
